At the Hondartza Sports Centre the spaces are organised in a way to ease the links between the city and the sports centre. A new square connected to the city is created, which gives access to the sports centre through a large hall. From the hall, an overall view of the whole sports spaces eases the orientation and invites the visitor to practice a sport. The large volume of the building is disguised with a careful site insertion, which guarantees integrating the building in its context.
